New Contemporaries

SCA Galleries 18 May - 11 June 2016

New Contemporaries features the work of ten recent SCA graduates: Cigdem Aydemir, Clare Britton, Janelle Evans, Hayley Megan French, Trevor Fry, Andrew Hazewinkel, Anna John, Anna McMahon, James Nguyen and Helen Shelley. Through painting, photography, sculpture, installation and video, these artists explore the political and personal implications of making, viewing and experiencing art.

The 2016 New Contemporaries artists were selected by a panel of SCA academics - Margaret Seymour, John Di Stefano, and Justin Trendall, based on a call for applications from postgraduates who completed their degrees in 2015.
